General Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving a fresh and inviting presentation of the daily complimentary breakfast, giving a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast and providing superior service to guests.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet in an attractive and abundant-looking, organized clean and standardized presentation.
2. Extends a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast.
3. Provide personalized service to all guests.
4. Take inventory of food, beverages and other supplies needed for each day.
5. Order or purchase food supplies.
6. Prepare foods such as cut fruit, coffee, and juices, etc.
7. Stock coffee, juice, and milk containers.
8. Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups, and other paper/china products.
9. Set out/arrange cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self-service.
10. Warm and set out/arranging hot food such as hashbrowns, french toast, etc.
11. Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
12. Wipe up spills.
13. Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas.
14. Remove trash.
15. Periodically restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
16. Wash china, flatware, and serving equipment and return it to storage.
17. Return reusable food supplies to storage.
18. Organize and put away food order.
19. Comply with health department rules and regulations with respect to handling, preparing and storing food.
20. Perform additional assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Must be able to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines, and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service.
3. Must be able to communicate effectively, be polite, courteous, and responsive to our guests.
4. Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
5. Must be organized and detail-oriented.
6. Must be able to bend, lift, push, carry and pull up to 50lbs.
7. May require some reaching overhead, crouching, and twisting.
