Overview

The Breakfast Attendant provides exceptional service to hotel guests in the complimentary breakfast area, ensuring a courteous and efficient experience.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and seat guests promptly, maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor.
2. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of menus and dining areas.
3. Clear, clean, and reset tables and hotel spaces per instructions.
4. Stock and organize service areas, complete side work, and support beverage and food service.
5. Handle guest requests and communicate with other departments regarding VIPs.
6. Support opening and closing procedures, including cashiering and side work duties.
7. Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
8. Produce high-quality beverages and assist with food service as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel or related experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal age to serve alcohol and ability to pass responsible beverage service training (e.g., TIPs).
• Ability to obtain Food Handlers card as required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest relations.
