Job summary

Homewood Suites Downtown Corpus Christi is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to maintain the breakfast area, ensure cleanliness, and deliver friendly service in a hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setting up the area, preparing items, restocking, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, greeting guests, and supporting inventory and daily operations. Must have reliable transportation and be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Prepares and sets up the breakfast area in accordance with brand and company standards.
• Prepares, heats, and replenishes breakfast items (eggs, meats, waffles, cereals, breads, beverages).
• Ensures items are stocked, displayed, and maintained during service.
• Maintains cleanliness of the breakfast area (tables, chairs, counters, floors, serving stations).
• Greets guests in a friendly, professional manner and assists with questions.
• Monitors food quality and ensures proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Breaks down and cleans the area after service and transports waste.
• Assists with inventory and restocking of breakfast supplies.
• May assist with light food preparation and other public area cleanliness.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Breakfast Attendant Job Description

Breakfast Attendants are responsible for the preparation, presentation, and overall cleanliness of the complimentary breakfast area. We are looking for an individual who is team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service while ensuring all food and cleanliness standards are met.

Requirements

• The ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Prepares and sets up the breakfast area in accordance with brand and company standards.
• Prepares, heats, and replenishes food items including, but not limited to eggs, meats, waffles, cereals, breads, and beverages.
• Ensures all food items are properly stocked, displayed, and maintained throughout the breakfast service period.
• Maintains cleanliness of the breakfast area including tables, chairs, counters, floors, and serving stations.
• Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner and assists with any questions or requests.
• Monitors food quality and ensures proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
• Breaks down and cleans the breakfast area after service including all equipment, utensils, and food storage areas.
• Removes trash and transports waste to designated disposal areas.
• Assists with inventory and restocking of breakfast supplies and notifies management of any shortages.
• May assist with light food preparation and other public area cleanliness as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
