Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Dayton, OH is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to greet guests, prepare and maintain the complimentary breakfast, and ensure a clean, inviting dining area.

You will work early morning shifts (approximately 5.5 hours), stock supplies, follow food safety guidelines, and collaborate with the hotel team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Prior hospitality or food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining our complimentary breakfast service, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, inviting dining area and receive exceptional customer service each morning.

What You'll Do

• Set up, prepare, and maintain the breakfast buffet according to Marriott brand standards.


• Ensure food and beverage offerings are fresh, stocked, and attractively presented throughout service.


• Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude and provide prompt assistance as needed.


• Monitor breakfast inventory and replenish food, beverages, and supplies.


• Clear, clean, and sanitize tables, counters, and buffet stations.


• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, kitchen, and storage spaces.


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.


• Assist with breakdown, cleaning, and preparation for the next day's service.


• Work collaboratively with hotel team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.


• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.


• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and perform cleaning tasks.


• Safely operate food service equipment and cleaning tools.

Requirements

What We're Looking For
