Role Overview

The Breakfast Attendant ensures a positive guest experience during breakfast service by preparing and presenting food in a clean, organized environment, providing exceptional service, and maintaining health and safety standards. This role is key to delivering a welcoming and satisfying morning experience, reflecting our company's high standards of hospitality.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of breakfast items according to standard recipes.
• Greet guests warmly and with a positive attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including cleaning tables and stations, and complying with health codes.
• Ensure food items are available and replenished throughout breakfast hours.
• Monitor food and beverage deliveries for quality and portion control.
• Follow health department regulations and safety standards, including sanitation laws.
• Inspect storage, cleanliness, and inventory rotation of food and beverage outlets.
• Assist with inventory management to maintain stock levels and reduce waste.
• Contribute to a positive team environment with enthusiasm and helpfulness.
• Maintain professionalism and set a positive example for colleagues.
• Communicate effectively across departments for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; hospitality experience is a plus.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health regulations related to food service and sanitation.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for up to 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for cleaning and inspections.
• Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to standards.
• Food handler’s permit if required by law.
