Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to manage fleet maintenance dispatches and ensure timely service provider deployment. The role requires coordinating events, verifying authorizations, and communicating ETA while handling customer inquiries in a 24/7/365 environment.

You will supervise service provider assignments, monitor delays, and adjust plans as needed. A high school diploma or GED with relevant dispatch experience is required, with advanced credentials preferred for growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dispatching for breakdowns and/or tire service in medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills are required.
• Knowledge of coordinating with service providers and customers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Advise customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
