Job summary

Cox Enterprises' Cox Fleet is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to keep fleet operations flowing by troubleshooting events and dispatching the appropriate service providers. Shift coverage is 24/7/365 to ensure timely repairs and minimized downtime across markets.

You will assess open events, verify dispatch approvals, assign the nearest service provider, and communicate ETA to customers while updating supervisors on any delays or issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of related dispatching experience (or 5 years with alternate combination).
• Strong multitasking and dispatching knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions according to their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of any delays with the service provider’s estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
