Job summary

TriCom Quest is seeking an Import Agent / Breakbulk for an international freight forwarder in El Segundo, CA. This long-term temp role runs Monday through Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. with occasional weekend hours and pays 21 USD per hour.

You will break down consolidated air shipments, sort cargo, verify airway bills, coordinate release, and liaise with airlines, brokers, and customers while ensuring import compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years of work experience (at least 1 year in an office)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Break down consolidated air shipments.
• Sort cargo by consignee and destination.
• Verify airway bills and import documents.
• Coordinate cargo release and delivery.
• Communicate with airlines, brokers, and customers.
• Ensure customs and import compliance.
• Other related duties will be assigned
