Lake Air Products is seeking a Break Out Operator for our Wisconsin facility in Little Chute. You will remove laser or turret parts from metal sheets, load and unload parts, and keep the workspace clean while meeting production targets.

Daily tasks include deburring, grinding burrs, reading gauges, recording data, and performing light inventory per job orders. The role requires physical effort and teamwork within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Sheet Metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Excellent people skills with ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
• Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment while driving toward clarity and solutions.
• Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

Responsabilidades

• Remove laser or turret parts from sheets of metal.
• Load and unload parts from machines, carts, and dollies.
• Clean the production area by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Grind burrs and sharp edges using a portable grinder, speed lathe, and polishing jack.
• Lift, position, and secure work pieces between machine dies, using manual effort, crane, and/or sledge.
• Scrape waste material from the machine and recycle metals.
• Read gauges.
• Record data and complete paperwork accordingly.
• Perform inventory by counting and sorting parts per job orders and instructions.

Position Summary

To remove laser or turret parts from sheets of metal, deburring as necessary.

• Break out metal parts from Laser forms
• Load and unload parts from machines, carts, and dollies.
• Clean the production area by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Grinds out burrs and sharp edges, using a portable grinder, speed lathe, and polishing jack.
• Lifts, positions, and secures work pieces between machine dies, using manual effort, crane, and/or sledge.
• Scrape waste material from the machine and recycle metals.
• Read and interpret gauges.
• Record data and complete all paperwork accordingly.
• Doing inventory by counting and sorting parts or materials per job work orders and instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Sheet Metal Fabrication experience preferred.
• Perform basic math calculations (Adding, Subtracting, Dividing, and Multiplying).
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in settingpriorities and guiding investment in people and systems
• Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
