A manufacturing company in Little Chute, WI is seeking an Assembler-Mechanical to prepare and organize parts for assembly. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and over a year of experience in mechanical assembly. This role involves various responsibilities, including verifying specifications and managing supplies inventory. Compensation is competitive, starting at $20.00/hr up to $25.00/hr, along with a full benefits package including medical and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifies supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
