Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Break-Bulk Supervisor to lead IQ workgroup personnel at the Service Center, ensuring alignment with the company mission and continuous improvement initiatives. You will supervise break-bulk operations and maintain load integrity, adherence to the load plan, and quality metrics across outbound and inbound activities.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely trailer closures, and collaboration with Linehaul, P&D, and other supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of LTL freight experience and/or business leadership experience.
• Completion of Company Management Training Program accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to IQ workgroup personnel to drive Continuous Measurable Improvement (CMI).
• Align the IQ workgroup structure to fulfill the Company mission in break-bulk operations.
• Oversee break-bulk operations at the designated Service Center.
• Maintain superior customer service and satisfaction across transit time, claims, and accounting.
• Communicate with Outbound, Inbound, and P&D Supervisors to assess customer requirements daily.
• Ensure integrity of Service Center measurements and stable QAP metrics; direct load plans and dock layouts.
• Implement preventive maintenance per Maintenance Department specs to keep fleet reliable.
• Maximize returns on investments in the Service Center.
