Job summary

Flour Bakery + Cafe in Boston seeks a Production Bread Baker for Flour Breadquarters at 19 Dry Dock Ave. You’ll join a fast-paced kitchen with a focus on bread, cross-training across stations, and a team-driven pastry operation.

The full-time shift typically runs 11am–7pm, four days a week with one weekend day; a part-time Fri–Sun option is also available. Compensation starts at $19/hr, up to $31/hr, with benefits such as health/dental/vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional baking experience required.
• Open availability to work weekends/holidays.
• We ask for a year commitment for this position.
• Must maintain grooming and uniform standards.
• Enjoy a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment and be driven.

Responsibilities

• Work across bread processes including mixing, shaping, proving, and baking.
• Maintain Flour standards of quality and sanitation (MOM test).
• Communicate with managers about operations and improvements.
• Ensure work areas are clean and properly set up for next day.
