Rosemont Market & Bakery in Portland, ME is hiring a Bread Baker to join our central kitchen team. You will mix, shape, and bake seasonal loaves and baked goods, while handling ready-to-eat foods safely and supporting market orders.

You’ll maintain cleanliness, follow safety rules, and contribute ideas for recipe testing with local, sustainable ingredients. This is an in-person role with shift hours set by the department manager.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus.
• Bakery or culinary experience preferred; professional bread-baking experience a strong plus.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Bake efficiently for high-volume, daily production.
• Portion, package, and label items to Rosemont standards.
• Keep station and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow Maine food hygiene and safety rules.
• Track and organize ingredients, products, and supplies; flag shortages.
• Pick and pack orders for markets and stage for delivery.
• Contribute ideas to seasonal recipe testing using local ingredients.
• Communicate production needs and maintenance issues to management.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and assist with other tasks.
