Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Bread Baker to contribute to scratch-made breads and a high-volume kitchen environment. You will follow recipes, prep items, assemble ingredients, and maintain clean work areas to ensure safety and quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to food safety standards, with opportunities for growth within our rapidly expanding farm‑owned restaurant company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen or bakery preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and food.
• Bread preparation experience helpful.
• Comfortable working with a team in a loud kitchen environment.
• High level of professionalism.
• Able to read and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Able to read and follow recipes to standards.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to potential allergens such as nuts, seeds, soy, shellfish and dairy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items following standard recipes and procedures within a specified time.
• Read prep list and prep items as assigned.
• Measure and assemble ingredients to follow recipe.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces.
• Rinse and cut raw food products and move food in/out of ovens.
• Bake breads and monitor quality and texture.
• Taste and assess food for quality standards.
