Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a skilled Brazer to join our manufacturing team in producing high-quality chillers for data centers. You will braze copper and other metals, read blueprints, and ensure leak-proof joints in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1+ year brazing/welding experience, proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Shift options include 6:00AM–2:00PM, 2:00PM–10:00PM, or 10:00PM–6:00AM, with base pay of $27.28/hour

Qualifications

• 1+ years brazing/welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metals in chiller assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings for correct assembly.
• Set up and operate brazing torches and related equipment to form strong joints.
• Inspect joints for quality and conformance to standards.
