Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Assembler (Brazer) Technician to join our production team in the United States. You will assemble units on the production line using prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will brazing copper and other metals for indoor assemblies, work on refrigeration and water circuits, perform high voltage wiring, read blueprints, and use CAD/Windows tools as part of daily operations.Safety and quality come first in this

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience brazing copper/brass and assembling metal components.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Safe operation of hand tools and industrial equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble units per customer specifications using tools and wiring diagrams.
• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass and other metals for indoor assemblies.
• Brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• High voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical systems.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assemblies.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to build or modify units.
• Maintain quality and production checklists; keep area neat and safe.
• Operate overhead hoists and powered industrial trucks as needed.

Position Description

An Assembler (Brazer) Technician is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in order to assemble product on the production line. The position is also responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. Assembler (Brazer) Technicians are responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Using various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.
• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of Indoor assemblies.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and watercircuitper print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Readsblueprintswork instructions, and wiring diagrams to build ormodifyunits.
• Ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
• Usecomputerto access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms. Keepsworkarea neat,cleanand orderly.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks whenrequired.
