Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking a brazer team member with a positive attitude and manufacturing experience to brazed copper and assemble components for commercial chiller (HVAC) systems.

Operations include brazing copper piping, assembling steel piping, insulating refrigerant lines, wiring sensors, and electrical devices, along with lean manufacturing practices and cross-training across multiple work areas.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing: 2 years' experience required.
• Wiring: 1 year's experience required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coils for brazing and braze coils with various rods; read blueprints and perform simple arithmetic.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Forklift operation will be required; forklift training is available.
• Must complete duties safely and in accordance with quality standards and specifications; coordinate co-worker work to meet production schedules.

Position Description

We are looking for a team member with a great attitude and manufacturing work experience! Brazer team members work with the manufacturing team and use knowledge to braze copper, assemble components for commercial chiller (HVAC) assembly.

Operations consist of brazing copper piping, assembling steel piping, insulating refrigerant lines, electrical panel building, wiring sensors and other electrical devices, mechanical assembly, pre-paint wash/prep and painting.

The work environment uses lean manufacturing principles (SS, continuous improvement, eight waste elimination, etc.). Cross training in multiple work areas is a requirement.

Forklift operation will be required. Forklift training is available.

Must be able to complete duties in a safe and timely manner in accordance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Coordinates the work of co-workers and ensures that their work meets all production standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• This position requires the ability to prepare coils for brazing, braze coil with various type rods, able to make own setups and braze any coil that comes thru the department and read blueprints and use simple arithmetic.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Forklift operation will be required.
• Forklift training is available.
• Must be able to complete duties in a safe and timely manner in accordance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Coordinates the work of co-workers and ensures that their work meets all production standards and schedules
