Job description

Reporting to the VP, Brand and Corporate Marketing, the Brand Strategist will be the brand storyteller for one of the industry's most innovative companies. The role will be responsible for transforming complex technology into compelling, human-centric stories that resonate with key buyer personas and portray Tanium's customers, partners, and team members as challenge-solving protagonists.

This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you'll do:

  • Communicate Tanium's brand promise, The Power of Certainty, through our customers, partners, and team members in various storytelling formats
  • Define Tanium's heart and soul through our vision, mission, and values
  • Develop and execute plans to maintain and strengthen the brand promise, including positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies
  • Collaborate closely within the Brand and Corporate Marketing team (Creative, Content, and Web) to ensure consistent brand storytelling, as well as cross-functionally to support branding efforts
  • Collaborate closely with Customer, Partner, and People teams on brand initiatives
  • Maintain and track brand positioning to ensure alignment to company goals, research competitors, and keep a finger on the pulse of the industry

Brand Strategist (Finance)

We're looking for someone with:
  • 10+ years in branding, corporate marketing or equivalent
  • Experience in humanizing B2B technology software
  • Experience in conducting interviews and producing videos
  • Authentic presence that engages all levels of the audience and company
  • Confident storyteller & brand evangelist
  • Ability to travel 25-50%

What you'll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $255,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
