Job Title: Director, HCP Marketing

We are a global, privately held biopharmaceutical company with deep roots in medical innovation and a 130-year legacy originating in Milan, Italy. Our footprint is expanding rapidly with a commercial hub in the San Francisco Bay Area and an R&D center in Boston. Focused on Primary Care and Rare Diseases, we are driven by a mission to develop transformative therapies that address both common health challenges and complex, underserved conditions.

Role Overview:

As Director, HCP Marketing, you will report to the Senior Director, Brand Lead, and play a vital role in shaping the U.S. marketing strategy for Oxervate, the first and only FDA-approved biologic treatment for neurotrophic keratitis (NK), a rare and degenerative eye condition. Your responsibilities include leading the development of HCP marketing strategies and promotional resources to support brand growth and disease education.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with agencies and cross-functional teams to ensure materials align with brand vision and meet compliance standards (PRC).
  2. Partner with sales leadership and KAM teams to gather insights and develop tools supporting field execution.
  3. Conduct regular field visits to stay attuned to market needs and HCP feedback.
  4. Contribute to annual brand planning and lead campaign components such as speaker bureau activities, national conferences, and sales training initiatives.
  5. Drive conference strategy, including booth development, materials, and on-site execution.
  6. Lead marketing efforts for National Sales Meetings in collaboration with sales and training teams.
  7. Partner with insights and analytics teams to design research, evaluate campaign performance, and refine strategies.
  8. Serve as project lead for HCP materials undergoing PRC review.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of healthcare industry experience, with at least 5 years in HCP marketing.
  • Knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical compliance and promotional review processes.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and insights for decision-making.
  • Exceptional project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience in branded campaign development with agency oversight.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for HCP materials.
  • Strong listening and influencing skills.
