Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassadors to drive sales by connecting with customers and sharing vendor product knowledge. You will cultivate repeat clientele and serve as the expert for the vendor/brand you represent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year selling or retail experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with computers, mobile devices, and RF equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the customer.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as a liaison between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, signed, and ready for sales and markdowns.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales, turn, and GM.
• Build brand-specific clientele to support local marketing.
• Execute vendor and non-vendor events to increase sales.
• Plan and lead customer-facing vendor-sponsored events with partners.
• Use Macy's POS and devices to wrap up sales warmly.
• Foster inclusive environment and strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
