Job summary
Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time night-shift role supports a 24-bed MICU with 36 weekly hours from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
You will apply the nursing process, provide patient-family centered care, and document learning and outcomes in the health record while collaborating with the Nurse Leader and ICU team. Active MI RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required within specified timelines.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
- 6+ months RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Collaborate with Nurse Leader to plan care and develop teaching strategies for patient/family; document education and learning in the health record.
