Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company seeks a Merchandiser to work primarily in our customers' retail locations, ensuring BEK products are properly represented and competitively positioned. You will build displays, hang signage, and engage with consumers and retail personnel to convey brand value.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, filling coolers and shelves, and maintaining back stock while aligning with marketing programs and promotions. A Texas driver’s license and ability to lift up to 165 lbs.

Qualifications

• Draught experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively use the handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives (vacation, open position, etc.) as needed.
• Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with our retail customers.
• Work collaboratively with customer to establish their needs and design solutions that fulfill them.
• Engage in regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts to sell product, gain distribution, merchandise, and stock product.
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions, consumer education and merchandising.
• Execute all company goals to enhance the sales, distribution shelf space, display coverage, tap share and merchandising of all brands carried by Ben E. Keith.
• Build product displays; execute placement of signage and other merchandising material to ensure maximum brand visibility in all assigned retail accounts.
• Maintain designated back stock area at customer location; ensure area is organized and free of trash.
