We’re seeking a results-driven Brand Manager to lead a portfolio of beloved regional and specialty snack brands. As a Brand Manager at Utz Quality Foods, you will lead the growth and brand equity of a diverse set of regional and specialty snack brands. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, driving innovation, and delivering revenue and profit goals across various retail channels including grocery, mass, value, convenience, club, vending, and food service. The Brand Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Consumer Insights, Sales, Revenue Growth Management, and Product Development, to maximize brand potential and achieve company objectives.

*This position can be based in Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Hanover, PA, a remote opportunity with travel required.

What You’ll do:

  • Develop and implement multi-year strategic brand plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market, business, and consumer trends to identify opportunities and shape brand strategy.
  • Lead brand initiatives including promotions, social media, packaging, and innovation.
  • Manage brand P&L, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business goals.
  • Drive SKU optimization through rationalization strategies to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Partner with internal teams on pricing strategies, distribution expansion, and product development.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to integrate brand strategies with broader corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure quality and food safety standards are met for all brand activities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Participate in food safety and operational safety programs.
  • Perform other duties as required to support team and company goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of brand management or customer marketing experience in the CPG space.
  • A proven track record of building brands and launching successful products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build actionable insights from data.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to balance strategic and tactical tasks.
  • Financial savvy with P&L experience and a love for data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, collaborative spirit, top-tier communication skills, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel required and Access is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
