Job description

We’re partnering with a fast-growing CNC brand in the tactical equipment space that is looking for a hands-on Brand Marketing Manager to join its growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for a marketer who wants to own the brand — from strategy and storytelling to product launches, campaigns, content, and day-to-day execution. You’ll be the company’s sole internal marketer and an individual contributor, working closely with the founder and a small, entrepreneurial team.

The ideal candidate is someone who can think strategically but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and make things happen.

You Will:

  • Own and strengthen the brand’s positioning, voice, messaging, and overall identity

  • Develop compelling brand stories and messaging that connect with the target customer

  • Build and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing calendars

  • Develop integrated campaigns across email, social, e-commerce, community, product launches, and events

  • Manage email marketing and customer communications through Klaviyo

  • Oversee social media strategy, content planning, and community engagement

  • Lead marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for 10–20 new product launches annually

  • Build excitement around new products, limited‑edition drops, colorways, merchandise, and other launches

  • Ensure a consistent brand experience across email, social, website, packaging, merchandise, events, and other customer touchpoints

  • Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, engagement, customer loyalty, and DTC sales

  • Manage and provide creative direction to freelance designers, photographers, videographers, content creators, and other partners

  • Develop clear creative briefs and ensure outside partners understand the brand, audience, objectives, and desired outcome

  • Help determine the creative assets needed to support campaigns and product launches

You Have:

  • 5–8+ years of marketing experience, ideally with a consumer, DTC, e-commerce, lifestyle, enthusiast, or product-driven brand

  • Strong experience in brand marketing, brand strategy, communications, and storytelling

  • Experience marketing physical products and leading product launches / go-to-market campaigns

  • Strong understanding of a target customer and the ability to turn those insights into effective messaging and campaigns

  • Hands‑on experience with email marketing and lifecycle campaigns; Klaviyo experience is a plus

  • Experience overseeing social media and community-focused marketing

  • Strong project management skills and experience managing integrated marketing/content calendars

  • Experience directing external creative resources or freelancers

  • Ability to balance big‑picture brand thinking with hands‑on execution

A note on creative:

You do not need to be a graphic designer, photographer, or video editor. The company already has creative resources in place. The priority is someone who can develop the idea, shape the story, provide strong creative direction, and make sure the final work comes together cohesively. Hands‑on design skills are definitely a plus!

Contract opportunity with the goal of full-time conversion.

If you’re a brand marketer who loves both strategy and getting things done, this could be a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing brand.
