Job summary

PATTERN is seeking a Brand Manager, Innovation to own the brand's innovation pipeline from concept through pre-launch hand-off. You will ensure ideas are market-ready, consumer-aligned, and business-fit, leading cross-functional workshops and stage-gate processes.

The role requires 5–7 years in brand management/innovation, strong financial acumen, and expertise in consumer research methods. This hybrid position is based in Los Angeles with in-person work three days weekly at the PATTERN office

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of brand management, innovation, or NPD experience in beauty or personal care.
• Proven ownership of an innovation pipeline from concept through launch.
• Strong financial acumen: capable of building and defending business cases.
• Fluency with consumer research methodologies (qual, quant, IHUT, concept testing).
• MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end innovation pipeline from concept through pre-launch hand-off.
• Lead stage-gate reviews, build business cases with volume, GM, and ROI.
• Define product vision, consumer target, and category fit with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Insights, PD, and Sales to align with market needs and channel realities.
