Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking energetic Brand Ambassadors to represent a premium tobacco brand at retail locations across a defined territory. You will engage adult customers one-on-one, share brand offerings, collect feedback, and distribute promotional offers during scheduled activations.

No tobacco industry experience is required; a great personality and comfort engaging with people are key. Expect weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, event marketing or promotional marketing preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging consumers in a retail environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to utilize mobile applications and reporting tools.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain active throughout scheduled events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory.
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in meaningful, compliant conversations about tobacco products.
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with company policies, local regulations and program guidelines.
• Administer consumer surveys and accurately collect market feedback and insights.
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives.
• Educate consumers on available promotions.
• Encourage purchase consideration through consultative consumer engagement.
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management.
• Accurately document activity results, consumer interactions, and survey completion through designated reporting systems.
• Maintain all program materials, displays, and activation assets in a professional manner.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support scheduled retail visits and events.
