Job summary

L. Knife & Son is seeking an Activation Specialist to lead promotional events at bars, restaurants, and stores in Kingston, MA. You will manage 1–2 hour activations, promote the brand, and ensure excellent customer service while coordinating with sales and supplier partners.

The role requires a personable, organized professional who can handle administrative duties, maintain records, and travel to assigned accounts, with emphasis on brand integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends as standard practice
• Personable and outgoing demeanor
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
• Must have valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute 1-2 hour activations in each assigned account
• Be knowledgeable of the products being promoted and which options the account sells
• Arrive before the activation is set to begin and introduce yourself to the account management
• Bring the tools of the promotion into the account (Giveaways, games, engraver, etc.)
• Interact with patrons to promote the brand being promoted and encourage participation in planned activities
• Execute tastings for visiting patrons of assigned store
• Set up products for sampling in a professional manner
• Insure product is readily available to purchase for customer convenience
• Maintain records of activations with photographic documentation and provide weekly recaps
• Communicate activation specifics with sales management and team members
