Job summary

Gorjana in Nashville is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive store performance, coach a team, and maintain exceptional customer experiences. You will educate customers about our brand and products, lead recruiting and onboarding, and ensure visual standards are consistently met.

The role emphasizes collaboration, timely communication of new initiatives, and a hands-on approach to daily operations, scheduling, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in a retail leadership position.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift.
• Flexible to nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store performance and KPI’s
• Educate customers on our history and our product, acting as a brand ambassador
• Create effective action plans to maintain or improve performance
• Build new and repeat business through customer clienteling
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing both internal and external talent
• Clearly communicate new initiatives and goals in a timely and effective manner
• Lead by example in customer experience and visual standards
• Execute daily store operations in a timely and efficient manner
• Schedule team members to the needs of the business and budget
• Manage store inventory with detail and organization per SOPs
• Lead opening/closing duties
