Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Brand Designer to own our visual identity across web, social and events. You will translate technical concepts into credible visuals for engineers and founders, and build a scalable system that grows with multiple product lines.

You’ll work directly with the founders, shaping launch narratives and maintaining high craft while moving quickly. A strong portfolio of systems, typography and layout is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in brand design role, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, or complex B2B environments.
• Portfolio showing systems thinking, typography and layout across web, motion, print, and presentation.
• Evidence you’ve built or evolved a brand for a technical product, not just followed someone else’s system.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and bring engineers and founders along.
• Comfort with ambiguity.
• You love to prototype and explore multiple options with agentic tools.
