Job summary

Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Company in St. Louis is seeking two Brand Designers to own the day-to-day design and photography-driven branding across our coffee and tea brands. You will translate creative direction into packaging, in-store visuals, ecommerce, email, and campaigns.

One designer will be photography-focused; both roles contribute to brand systems, typography, and copy, with collaboration across marketing, social, retail, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of professional design or brand design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing brand work across multiple touchpoints.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience carrying a campaign idea across formats and brand systems.
• Willingness to work full-time from the St. Louis office and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Learn the positioning, audience, voice, products, locations, and visual system of each assigned brand.
• Create graphical work that feels specific to each brand and avoid a single aesthetic across the portfolio.
• Develop and extend visual concepts for seasonal campaigns, launches, promotions, merchandise, and other brand moments.
• Present work, explain creative choices, and respond to critique.
• Collaborate with the Creative Lead and colleagues across marketing, social, ecommerce, and retail.
