Qualifications

• 8+ years in brand and identity design for studios, agencies, or independent practice.
• A portfolio showing strong typography, systems thinking and ideas beyond a logo.
• Experience delivering complete identity systems and brand guidelines.
• Comfort presenting work to clients and defending decisions with taste and reason.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual identity projects from concept exploration to final direction.
• Design logo marks, typography, color, imagery and graphic systems for brands.
• Evolve existing identities with a light touch or push them further when needed.
• Write and design brand guidelines that teams can use withoutyour input.
• Extend identity across web, presentations, fundraising decks, and print.
• Present concepts to clients and guide them toward the strongest idea.
• Direct and review the work of supporting designers.
• Collaborate with strategy and copy to ensure visuals carry the story.
