Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communications or a related field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of related experience preferably in a high-volume company.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and unique creative and informational copy for products, both independently, and in support of the Communications Manager.
• Support and lead copy projects as assigned through the process proactively, ensuring that deliverables and deadlines are met.
• Proofread and edit their own work and the work of other writers.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchant teams, Customer Service, eCommerce and account teams to drive business results.
• Stay informed of consumer pet-related trends and translate insights into compelling copy.
