Job summary

The Bio Dude, Inc. in Webster, TX is seeking a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Specialist. This on-site role focuses on photography, videography, graphic design, and engaging content to bring our reptile and amphibian brand to life across digital platforms.

You will report to the Social Media and Marketing Lead, creating campaigns, updating calendars, and optimizing content to grow community engagement and product visibility. A portfolio is required with application.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in digital content creation, social media management, and SEO.
• Photography and videography skills with editing of short- and long-form content.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Shopify, SKULabs, and label-producing software.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics, photos, and videos featuring products and operations.
• Film and edit short- and long-form video content (care guides, species highlights, behind-the-scenes).
• Manage content calendar; schedule and publish social posts and YouTube videos.
• Write product descriptions and promotional copy for sales, events, and launches.
• Create web banners, email templates, and promotional graphics following brand standards.
• Optimize content for search visibility and engagement across platforms.
• Monitor comments and messages; respond professionally to customers.
• Develop and execute social campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
• Track performance and prepare reports; suggest improvements.
• Conduct A/B testing on copy, visuals, and posting times.
• Manage sponsorship programs according to procedures.
• Stay updated with platform changes and industry trends.
