Brand Champion & Retail Operations Trainer

Job description

• Serve as the Brand Champion for all Company Programs
• Work closely with Store Marketing and Retail Services as well as Store PCMs, site GMs and DMs
• Provide support, training, and development for operational management staff
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and programs driven properly
• Implement changes to boost efficiency
• Represent the company at various trade shows and conventions
• Provide feedback to Category Management team on programs and how to better complete
• Assist in developing retention strategies for Team Members
• Monitor and ensure all training is on target
• Maintain contact with store managers through phone calls, emails, and site visits and be knowledgeable in new store system installations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Five plus years of experience in retail/marketing
• Strong in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
• Excellent planning and execution
• Willingness to travel and holds a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Able to lead people through a clear vision, proper training, ongoing development, and positive recognition
• Proficient in planning and analytical skills to create positive financial results always
• Stays current with industry guidelines by benchmarking competitors, reading convenience store periodicals
• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
