Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator in Raleigh to support national awards, conferences, and industry rankings. You will partner with Communications & PR, Design Leadership, Practice Leadership and Business Development to elevate the firm’s reputation and help attract talent.

The role requires strong writing, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 1+ years of marketing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
• Familiarity with Asana preferred.
• Experience in public relations and corporate communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and management of the annual awards calendar with design and practice leadership.
• Support awards tracking across entries, deadlines, costs, wins and losses in Asana.
• Optimize submission timing to capture early-bird deadlines and reduce costs.
• Facilitate project submission development and communications with award organizations.
• Collaborate with Communications and PR to maximize value of wins and support post-award recognition.
• Help develop systems to improve submission quality and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized archive of submissions, assets and jury feedback.
• Maintain the annual calendar of conferences and speaking engagements with stakeholders.
• Coordinate collection of content assets for marketing and business development efforts.
• Track conference participation and outcomes to inform planning and reporting.
• Align visibility activities with firm messaging and brand standards.
