Job summary

HKS is seeking a Marketing Awards & Conferences Coordinator to manage national award submissions, rankings, and conference participation. You will coordinate with Communications & PR, Design Leadership, Practice Leadership and Business Development to strengthen the firm's reputation and support business development.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related degree.
• Typically 1+ years of marketing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Asana preferred.
• Experience in public relations and corporate communications preferred.
• Knowledge of branding principles and audience engagement strategies.
• Strong writing skills with experience in graphically designed page layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual awards calendar with leaders to plan submissions.
• Support tracking of entries, deadlines, costs, wins and losses in Asana.
• Optimize submission timing for early-bird deadlines and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate project selection, submission development and communications with award bodies.
• Collaborate with Communications and PR to maximize value of wins.
• Develop and improve systems to increase submission quality and efficiency.
• Maintain an organized archive of submissions and jury feedback.
• Maintain the annual calendar of conferences, speaking engagements and events.
• Coordinate collection of conference presentations and media assets.
• Track conference participation and outcomes for planning and reporting.
• Keep visibility activities aligned with firm messaging and brand standards.
• Manage 10+ annual industry surveys and rankings data gathering.
• Maintain submission schedules and data for consistency.
• Support with narratives for survey submissions.
• Track rankings and communicate results internally.
• Identify opportunities to maximize visibility through rankings.
