Job summary

Volkswagen of Fallston is seeking an experienced Service Technician to repair and maintain vehicles to dealer and factory standards. You will oversee apprentices, diagnose malfunctions, and ensure parts and tools are managed efficiently while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Looking for experienced technicians with brand (heavy line and diagnostic experience preferred).
• ASE or manufacturing training, Brand experience.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and manage workflow to stall area.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Save and tag parts when under warranty or requested by customer.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work.
• Notify service advisor if extra work is unnecessary or if repairs cannot be completed on time.
• Document work performed and test drive when required.
• Supervise apprentices and attend factory training.
• Keep shop area clean and ensure tools are accounted for.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents.
• Maintain high CSI and adhere to federal, state, local regulations.
