Job summary

Sonic Automotive's Volkswagen of Fallston is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repair and maintenance services in a fast-growing, team-oriented shop. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs per dealer standards, and mentor apprentices while participating in ongoing factory training.

Qualifications

• Experience with brand heavy line and diagnostic work is required.
• ASE or manufacturing training is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Communicate with parts to obtain needed components and document work.
• Supervise apprentices and participate in factory training.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all policies.
