Job summary

Fowler Volkswagen is seeking a Mainline Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer and dealership vehicles in a fast-paced, honest shop. The role requires collaboration with foreman, service advisors, and trainees, with strong attention to safety and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with MVR acceptable to our insurer. ASE certification is a plus, and ongoing factory training is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ase or Brand certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman.
• Provide labor time estimates to service advisor.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care.
