Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick, MD is hiring Automotive Technicians with Volkswagen diagnostic experience to join our busy shop. Our team values a strong client base, thorough training, and a commitment to quality service.

Applicants must have prior service technician experience or an equivalent degree, and a valid driver’s license. You will diagnose, repair, and certify work orders, while staying current with OEM certifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Applicants MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SERVICE TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to perform mechanical diagnosis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to follow state and federal regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical diagnosis with efficiency and accuracy
• Complete work as assigned on repair orders in a timely fashion
• Examine vehicles for safety and maintenance items
• Notify other service personnel if work cannot be completed as promised
• Keep and update all training and certifications
• Follow all regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
