Brand Ambassador Role

The Brand Ambassador role is to assist GEHA in meeting its goal of providing value-added healthcare products & wellbeing programs for our federal employees. We are looking for self-starters who excel at building relationships and have a passion for health and wellbeing. This is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week), independent contractor position, offering schedule flexibility, paid travel time, and travel expense reimbursement to attend health fairs in your area, with an excellent hourly rate.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Build awareness of GEHA's healthcare product portfolio within target markets by attending and coordinating local enrollment and wellbeing events.
• Serve as an interface between federal employees and GEHA at events, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
• Become an expert in GEHA's products & services and build awareness of the healthcare industry and local market.
• Strictly adhere to relevant regulatory & compliance guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent customer service and face-to-face presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with sales abilities; preferred knowledge of account management and/or sales experience; healthcare/insurance industry experience preferred.
• Ability to organize and present information effectively in group settings, both formal and informal.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Email, Word, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to provide transportation to events (mileage reimbursed).
• Availability to work up to 20 hours a week, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to pass security clearance and access Federal facilities.

Work-from-Home Requirements

• Reliable non-cellular high-speed internet service (Fiber, DSL, cable modem).
• Minimum speed of 30x5 Mbps (download x upload).
• Latency lower than 80 ms.
• No hotspots, satellite, or wireless internet allowed.
• A dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
