The Brand Ambassador role aims to help GEHA promote its healthcare products and wellbeing programs to federal employees. This is a part-time (up to 20 hours/week), independent contractor position with flexible scheduling, paid travel time, and expense reimbursement for attending health fairs. No benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness of GEHA’s healthcare products at local events.
• Serve as the interface between federal employees and GEHA, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
• Become an expert in GEHA’s offerings and healthcare industry trends.
• Adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; sales or account management experience preferred; healthcare/insurance industry experience a plus.
• Ability to organize and present information effectively in group settings.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Email, Word, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation for field events.
• Availability to work up to 20 hours/week, Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 6 pm.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and pass security clearance for Federal facilities.

Work-from-Home Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet (fiber, DSL, cable).
• Minimum speed of 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload; latency below 80 ms.
• No hotspots, satellite, or wireless internet.
• Dedicated, interruption-free workspace.
