Job Summary

The Brand Ambassador plays a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, fostering relationships with key dispensary accounts, and supporting the sales team to meet and exceed goals within the territory. Responsibilities include educating budtenders and consumers on product benefits, promoting brand visibility through events, executing visual merchandising standards, collecting market insights, handling event logistics, and executing promotional strategies. A high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and industry knowledge is essential for maintaining brand integrity and growing loyalty.

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekends. Initial training on Monday and Tuesday; regular schedule shifts to Thursday through Saturday, as confirmed by the hiring manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • In-store Engagement: Conduct demos, trainings, and Patient Appreciation Days at dispensaries.
  • Product Education: Develop understanding of product benefits for staff and consumers.
  • Social Media Content: Capture high-quality media during events for social media.
  • Sales Support: Drive product sales through education and engagement.
  • Merchandising: Manage visual displays and product placement.
  • Budtender Training: Lead training sessions and administer assessments.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process invoices, track accruals, and prepare reports.
  • Market Research: Collect feedback and monitor store traffic.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute brand-aligned events.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain marketing materials and collateral.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales teams on promotional strategies.

Required Skills And Abilities

  • Industry Knowledge: Cannabis products, effects, chemistry, and trends.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to engage and drive sales.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media platforms.

  • Dependability: Punctuality, reliability, and brand integrity commitment.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience:
    • Marketing & Sales: 2+ years with proven success.
    • Customer Engagement: 1+ years in public-facing roles.
    • Cannabis Industry: 1+ years, with event experience preferred.
    • Customer Service: At least 1 year ensuring high satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate environments.
  • Travel: Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule including weekends, afternoons, and evenings.
