Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Fresno, CA is seeking a Branch Welder to fabricate, fit, and repair steel equipment components. You will set up and operate welding equipment to construct parts, measure parts to engineering specs, and help meet production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with welding experience; certification in Welder Certification Program is preferred. Strong reading of drawings and weld procedures, safety adherence, and ability to read tape measures and calipers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related welding experience and/or training.
• Welder Certification Program is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and AWS welding symbols.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates welding equipment to construct parts from components.
• Measures and inspects parts to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Supports production goals by applying welding skills as needed.
• Trains others in skills and quality standards when requested.
• Maintains inventory of materials and welding supplies.
