Job summary

TRENCH SHORING COMPANY is seeking a Branch Welder to fabricate, fit, and repair steel equipment components in our California facility. You will set up and operate welding equipment, measure and inspect parts, and ensure conformity to engineering specifications and safety standards.

You will also support production goals, train others when needed, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to weld procedures and using shop tools such as calipers and tape measures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years welding experience.
• Welder Certification Program required.
• Ability to read and follow weld procedures and AWS symbols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment to construct parts.
• Measures and inspects all parts to ensure conformity to engineering specifications.
• Read and follow weld procedures, shop drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times.
• Support production goals and assist in training when needed.
