Job summary

HUB International is seeking a capable insurance professional to join our General Management team in Canada. You will lead and coach a team to achieve service and sales goals while supporting daily operations and reporting.

The role involves assisting the Branch Manager, handling client inquiries, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in brokerage with a valid Level 2 General Insurance License and relevant designations; strong communication and organization are

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years insurance brokerage experience, with some leadership experience preferred.
• Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and motivate team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Support operational reporting and manage team targets and performance metrics.
• Assist the Branch Manager (or oversee objectives in their absence) and ensure daily service commitments are met.
• Answer client and associate questions, handle escalations, and assist in creating processes.
• Maintain relationships with employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
• Other job responsibilities as required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Expectations – The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
