Job summary

HUB International is seeking a part-time internship in the Los Angeles area. The role involves preparing quotes, reviewing policies, and assisting with audits, while coordinating billing tasks and premium financing as needed.

The position offers exposure to a brokerage environment and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related commercial insurance experience, an HS diploma or GED, and holds an insurance license in good standing.

• HS diploma or GED required; insurance license in good standing preferred.
• Strong interaction skills across all levels; proficient with MS Office and agency systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares quotes and proposals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related commercial insurance experience within a brokerage environment
• HS diploma or GED
• Holds an insurance license in good standing
• Effectively interacts with all levels within the organization
• Computer proficient with MSOS, Outlook, agency management systems (Epic preferred)
• Required "soft skills": efficient time management, organization, customer service, high initiative, team-oriented and high attention to detail.

CONTRACT & COMPENSATION

This is a part-time position lasting until June 1, 2026, upon commencement of your internship with HUB. The position may be terminated at any time based on business needs.

*The expected hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
