Job summary

IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union in Davenport, IA seeks a Branch Supervisor to lead member and team relationships with attentiveness, listening, and educated recommendations. The role focuses on professional, confidential handling of member and staff issues and regional travel to assist other branches as needed.

Education includes a High School Diploma; leadership experience in financial services or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education in finance, business or related field is a plus.
• Prior leadership within a financial institution, customer service or retail environment preferred.
• Strong history of proven relationship building performance.
• Exceptional member service, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Professional interpersonal communications and ability to motivate and coach the team.

Responsibilities

• Make sure branch operations run smoothly (vault/cash drawer balancing, coin counter, cash advance machines, check scanner, debit card machine).
• Develop Universal Tellers and ensure they are informed about policies and procedures.
• Provide consistent coaching and motivate the team to be successful.
• Manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.
