Dupaco's Marion branch is looking for a Branch Services Representative to process transactions, assist members with account management, and educate them on products and services. This role also supports branch operations while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of transactions for members (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments).
• Assist and educate members with ITMs as needed.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions daily.
• Open member accounts (checking, savings, CDs) and promote full-family membership.
• Close member accounts accurately.
• Cross-sell Dupaco products and services and highlight digital solutions.
• Conduct proactive outreach to members and support branch goals.
• Assist with branch operations and regulatory compliance.

Job description

As a Branch Services Representative, you'll process transactions, assist members with account management, and educate them on products and services. You'll also engage in cross-selling, conduct proactive outreach, and support branch operations while ensuring compliance with regulations. • Accurately process a variety of transactions for members including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments and a ssist members in the lobby.
• Assist and educate members with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) as needed.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of the day.
• Open member accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit (CDs) and offering full -family membership to new and existing members.
• Accurately close member accounts.
• Responsible for assisting members through a Visa application by communicating approval/denial and process balance transfers.
• Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating personal information and managing account inquiries.
• Educate members on features, benefits, and fees of the credit union and Dupaco products and services.
• Cross Sell Dupaco Products and services by engaging, identifying, and advocating for digital services by highlighting benefits, addressing potential concerns, and demonstrating how they can enhance the member’s experience to support the branch and organizational goals.
• Proactive outreach and outbound calls to members as assigned.
• Perform Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons and identify opportunities to deepen the relationship with the member by offering products and services.
• Identify and refer potential leads for specialized services, such as Mortgage Loans, Business Loans, Business Services, Dupaco Insurance Services, Dupaco Financial Services, etc.
• Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling equipment and machines, including balancing, servicing, and reconciling.
• Ensure adherence to all credit union regulations, policies, and compliance procedures and requirements.
• Utilize available resources and tools to detect and report suspicious activities and transactions.
• Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay current on Dupaco policies and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous costumer services or equivalent experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent the financial institution in a positive and professional way when dealing with membership, and other staff members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
