We are seeking an experienced and energetic Branch Service Manager to lead our Westlake Banking Center in Austin, TX. The role involves managing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have extensive banking operations experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven record in customer relationship management.

This position reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Essential Functions:
  1. Manage banking center service, operations, and sales to meet strategic goals in coordination with the Branch Manager.
  2. Participate in interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  3. Conduct training and coaching, including mentoring employees.
  4. Lead sales and referral efforts for bank products and services.
  5. Address client service concerns and complex complaints.
  6. Oversee employee scheduling and work hours.
  7. Maintain productivity and sales records; evaluate employee performance.
  8. Handle employee promotions, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and legal standards.
  10. Monitor adherence to policies and risk management practices.
  11. Approve teller transactions as needed.
  12. Prepare for audits and collaborate with auditors to resolve issues.
  13. Provide sales leadership through personal production and team oversight.
  14. Make discretionary approvals and overrides within authority.
  15. Participate in planning operational, sales, and customer experience goals.
  16. Investigate operational issues, losses, and fraud; resolve significant matters.
  17. Represent the banking center in handling disputes and grievances.
  18. Process cash transactions and perform customer service duties as needed.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of banking or financial services experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of lending processes, underwriting, and documentation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Proficiency in financial management and banking products.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability.
  • Familiarity with banking software and systems.
Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including Saturdays when required.
